The Route 70 over the Manasquan River Bridge was dedicated in 2004 in memory of the residents of Monmouth and Ocean counties who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 terriorist attacks. Pictured are Point Pleasant Mayor Martin C. Konkus, Senator Andrew Ciesla, Assemblyman David Wofe and September 11 widow Nancy Neidermeyer, whose husband was a Port Authority Police Officer. |
