Department of Transportation

Overview

The NJDOT Research Library provides knowledge resources to transportation professionals in New Jersey so that they can plan, design, construct, and maintain a high-quality transportation system. The library collects documents from multiple sources, including the Transportation Research Board, AASHTO, and NJDOT.

The library provides reference and referral services to state government employees with a New Jersey State Library card. Materials can be utilized onsite or borrowed by state government employees, with a loan period of four weeks for general books and two weeks for examination study and reference materials. For NJDOT employees, we provide literature searches, notification of new materials, and loans from the New Jersey State Library and other libraries. Members of the public may use materials onsite by appointment.

The Research Library is located on the second floor of the Main Office Building of the David J. Goldberg Transportation Complex at 1035 Parkway Avenue in Ewing. The hours of operation for the library are from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.
